Changing Orders

Lightspeed supports changing existing orders on the fly, without having to cancel and recreate them. The most impactful changes you might make include:

• Updating the cost or quantity of a line items.
• Adding or removing order items
• Canceling or deleting an order

Some changes automatically recalculate the cost of your order. You can also alter orders by updating the parameters normally used when creating the order:

• Applying discounts
• Setting quantities
• Adding notes
